My Kayaking Expedition!

fresh n new with my one star cert
found a canoe that caught my eye.
'um hi', 'um hi'.
'can i go with u out to sea?' i ask.
'im not confident, let's not try'.

the kayak looks rough
looks tired but not tough.
i shall look around for another one

ive got my good pfd
that i can trust.
'should i convince that canoe?' i ask.
'it looks tired n unconfident,
go on n find another one.'
and so i should.

lookin for possible kayaks,
i carry on the line
none as yet look fine.

'hey there,' 'hey there.'
'i think i wanna go out to sea again.'
'really? oks i just got my one star, i'm gonna try'
'ok let's try'
and off to sea we go.

exciting, different n new.
i love the excitement i love the feel.
this is gonna be a good expedition!

i'm kayakin in the sea with a pfd..
excited n happy n feelin everythin new.
checked the styrofoam in the kayak
n i'm just gonna venture far out
my kayak said it'll be with me
so i throw caution out the window.

occasionally lookin back to the shore.

great times with the canoe..
a lil water came in..
no worries i'll bail the water out.
everything's fine,
kayak n i we're riding the waves.
wad's an expedition w/o the waves?

forget abt stickin to the shore.

water's comin in
faster than i can bail..
waves hittin
we're parallel to them.
kayak's rocking..
i try hard to keep my balance.

we shall balance, kayak, i say.
we will hold on more
forget abt going back to shore.

kayak n i we tried hard
kept our balance
after wantin to give up.
didnt give in to no waves at all.
kayak asked "u think we can make the expedition?"
"i think so.." "i think so too."
and so we went.

looked back n i can see no shore.

'hey kayak u ok?'
'hey kayak u holdin on?'
water's comin in
i hear no response.
'hey kayak i need a rest'
'u gonna keep ur hold?'

im rowin on my own
it's hard not to fall
but i'm not thinkin of the shore.

'hey kayak the water's comin in'
'can u balance while i start to bail?'
whoosh. kayak rocks.
water's floodin in..
'i can hold on no more..'
'dun worry i'll here for u!' says my pfd.

im holdin on
bailin n trying not to fall
should i head back to the shore?

'if u cant hold on, head back to shore.'
'but i wanna try i've come so far'
'den carry on i'll be here for u,
like i have been all this while.'
countin on my pfd i row some more.
'kayak.' 'kayak?'
