a real update!

it was two gatherings with a bunch of fabulous friends in a row.

ever of national day at bungalow
so the cold soup was bad
and the dessert was a cheat.
but the seafood baked rice was great
and even better was the company!
made up of ever dearest ms li, mr fi, mr and ms lim.
the friends that make u feel like theyve never left ur side before.
and to top it all off, the partner who is well-liked by these fabulous friends.

we went to grapevine after and had a good catch up n a plan for the next gathering...

i cheated. i saw a picture of a potentially popular and easy to make dessert somewhere
and decided to make that at sheen's. and it turned out quite a success!
and if u wanna find out wad it is,
it'll be served at your barbecue anyway so do turn up.
and btw, you gotta wear a scarf there.

u know the times u spend in school lamenting abt everything possible
with the sweetest company who seemed to share every same molecule of thought?
u think ud lose them once u leave school.
but i dont. the friendships just remain the same
and theres more to life than just the people u see at work.
a big part n another dimension to my life is the paths my friends take
and hey...we kinda end up on the same road. =)

no adjectives can describe how much i appreciate my friends
and the joy and comfort i feel when im with people who connect on a different level..

im already looking forward to the slumber party. =)
